This electric cordless iron comes complete with its own carrying case, making it ideal for sewing teachers headed to a class, costume designers on their way to the set, or a wedding party traveling across the country with wrinkled bridesmaid’s dresses. Once the power base is plugged in, the cordless iron begins to generate heat. The flatiron simply lifts off the base for use and there is no dangerous cord to get tangled up in. The three temperature/steam settings function via an electronic keypad on the handle, and an internal microprocessor accurately maintains the correct heat. A fabric chart on the power base recommends appropriate heat settings for specific fabrics. A steam button on the top of the iron’s handle has three positions--high, low, or off--and can be adjusted for.. |
