The manufacturer assures you can "make movies like they do in Hollywood." Thats a stretch, but kids with lots of ideas can still work wonders with this handheld digital video recorder. Besides making movies, still images and audio can be recorded, allowing for a number of other innovative media projects. The included software provides a kid-friendly interface for editing, mixing, animation, special effects, and multimedia use. The finished products can be viewed on a computer or e-mailed to friends. A couple of notes: the camera can record only 4 minutes at a time. Your little director would have to record and splice a slew of takes to make a full, feature-length piece. And, its not Mac-compatible. The PC specifications seem multitudinous, but theyre actually no more than most current comp.. |
