(..). I think you have to make sure that background in not dark. You can put light near web cam so it will give you clear picture. Built in microphone is not bad either. I think its better compare to additional piece of equipment for audio chat. I have windows 2000 & software install was matter of 1..

I have had this cam for about 3 years (actually bought 2 b/c I enjoyed the first so much, not a whole lot of tweeking and so on) good software, good support should you need it. Buy it you wont regret it. Great for a entry - mid level cam...
