I do not own this model---(I have a Sony CDFS22) mine works fine Gets distorted at volume 10 (max) NO REMOTE!!! Works with copied CDs. You can use it with Batteries (9 "D"s) or A/c cord.(lose it, must use batt.s

I bought this DVD Player almost a year ago. I bought it to replace the Panasonic 5 Disc changer that I put in my basement. The Panasonic did not have the picture quality that I need given my 55" high definition TV so I thought Id try a Sony. It worked great for the entire year, but now it wont play ..

CD player malfunctioned after minimal use and Sony will not stand behind their product. Sound was very good, but what good is it if the CD player malfunctions with minimal use.
