Evel Knievels Spectacular Jumps |
The greatest jumps of the legendary motorcycle daredevil are contained in Evel Knievels Spectacular Jumps, which also includes footage of Knievel commenting on specific stunts, the injuries he sustained, and his motivations for following such a bizarre and dangerous occupation. A total of 11 jumps are shown, including the bone-crushing disaster at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas that left Knievel unconscious for a month and his ill-conceived attempt to jump the Snake River Canyon in a small rocket. An unavoidable flaw with this production is that the film footage of Knievel in his prime looks quaint compared to todays multi-angle saturation coverage of daredevil events.
