I found the reviews here very helpful and accurate, and now that I have this kettle wanted to pay back a bit. The comment that the kettle doesnt turn off quickly is right, as indicated in the review titled "Looks pretty but doesnt turn off quickly." BUT you may like this feature, depending on how you make tea. Part of the idea of the long boil is, I think, that you can just pick up teh kettle and pour your tea while the kettle is still boiling the water. This is what I find myself doing.
I like it because with my other electric kettle I find I often end up hitting the button after it boils to boil it again quickly right before I pour my tea.
